What is common with managing and distributing video and live streams to mobile devices such as iPhones and Androids and listening to tunes via Spotify? Well, not much to be honest. However, we like to every once in a while generate a "collaborative playlist" in Spotify where everyone in the office can add few tracks before cranking up the volume.

Large HD Plan Available Now

We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of the Large HD plan.

The Large HD plan allows customers to serve even better quality video to devices such as the Apple iPad and the HTC Evo 4G using bitrates of up to 800 kbps.

The Large HD plan also allows customers to optionally publish extremely high-quality live streams, ideal for sports events and other action-packed content.

To see the difference in video quality, just take a look at the images below. You can click on the images to see the original Apple iPad screenshots.

Other features in the Large HD plan are the same as in the current Large plan, giving customers complete control over their mobile video publishing.

Watch the World Cup on your mobile phone

It has been a busy week here at ThirdPresence, but we are now able to make the following announcement:

Sweden's TV4 Group, together with TeliaSonera, launched their mobile TV service just in time for the World Cup, allowing fans to see all the matches live on their iPhones, iPads, Androids and other video-capable mobile devices.

The mobile TV service includes all TV4's channels (TV4, TV4 Plus, TV400 and TV4 Fakta) and will feature full coverage of the football World Cup, the upcoming Swedish Royal Wedding and other exclusive content.

The service is delivered in co-operation with TeliaSonera, the largest Nordic mobile operator, as part of their summer campaign to promote mobile video. TeliaSonera is also the exclusive carrier for Apple's iPhone device in Sweden
