New Embed Code for Mobile Videos

A new HTML5 compatible embed code has been released today to better support HTML5 devices such as the Apple iPhone and iPad.

When embedding your videos on mobile web sites using our new embed code you will now notice two improvements:

Devices that support HTML5 now use the <video> tag to play video. For example on Apple iPad devices, this means that videos can play right inside the browser window instead of always forcing the user to full-screen mode. The user can still choose to play full screen, or you can force full screen playback in the HTML code
On iOS 4.3 devices, the new embed code will properly close the video player when a video ends and return the user to the web browser, instead of being stuck in the video player application.

The new embed code is now available in the Console for all your videos, along with the old version in case you prefer that.
